Katie

Introducing Katie.
Katie is totally refreshing to work with. She is very passionate and willing to learn. This was her first photoshoot. It will be a good start to her modelling career. We worked through many ideas as you can see and the day was very productive. Katie has a versatile look and loves a challenge. Will be interesting to see her progress.

Sarah

My first shoot since starting this Blog was with Sarah Elson. Sarah is very enthusiastic and works hard with everything she does. We had a fun day mixing glamour with fashion. Some of the images have a distinctive edge something which has been missing before. Progress and confidence has helped Sarah make brilliant improvements she should be proud of.

Kayt and Frank

Just remembering back, some things really do stick in my mind. I even laugh about the whole thing still. I booked to work with the awesome Kayt Webster-Brown. Looking at Kayt's work I knew I had to do something different. Along came Frank! Borrowed specially for the day. Having had lunch we set about our task which was very hard. Not from the point of view of the photography just the hilarious nature of what we we doing. I learnt so much as a novice photographer from the truly amazingly informed model that day. So many themes. Frank is just one theme from the day. So much variety as well as inspiration for the future. It was to lead to so much influence to achieve more and be creative. I went to bed that night but found myself waking up laughing at frequent intervals. Frank has long since returned home but if anyone knows where I can find Frank's relatives it would please Kayt hugely to adopt one.

Loneliness

Often my photos inspire me to write poetry.... Poem and photo inspiration.

Loneliness

It consumes you totally
A giant chasm with only darkness
A rusted door never to open
A light at the end of the tunnel masked by barbed wire
A stairway leading to nowhere
A desert with no oasis
A longing which can never be fulfilled
Sea in turmoil with no land in sight
Sand in a timer forever being turned

There is no escape
Explaining is futile
Getting understanding never comes
You have been judged
Unfairly, constantly
Waiting but no answer
Expecting but never getting
Hoping but always in vain
Chasing but never catching
Ravaged by disappointment!

Let's Get Now!!!!!

OK! I expect you are getting tired of the history so archive stories can wait and fit in.
My first shoot of the year was interestingly enough with Hannah. So enjoyed it. I organised a MUA called Tass and we basically has a creative day in the studio. I feel we achieved what I wanted and more. If you know my house' it is small so I really try and utilise it and hopefully give the impression of space within my creations. The photos speak for themselves. Would love your opinions.
