Daisy Days: Surville Beach

After a lunch break we moved up the coast to Surville on what was now a blisteringly hot day. The beach here is almost endless with perhaps a light scattering of people. The dry sand at the top of the beach was very hard to walk along as it's depth sucked all your energy walking. This for someone recovering from spinal surgery was hard work. Daisy was really at home in swimwear and we ranged from sweeping beach landscapes to close portraits. The sea in the shallows was reasonably warm to paddle in but out deeper would be much too chilly.

Daisy Days: Beach Huts in France

It has been a while but with the summer here I feel it is time to catch up with summer images and continue with my trip to Normandie. Having Andy as scout for the region we were able to plan content. The Beach Huts were at Carteret on the west coast. Daisy as expected was immaculate and chose contrasting outfits to go with the blue and white huts. There were joggers everywhere to avoid and a French gentleman who wanted to be photographed with Daisy (very strange). We declined. The geometrics of the huts plus the pattern created plenty of interest.
