Possibly the hottest day of the year and time to try out my new Fuji XE4 camera. Off to Sussex to some old haunts in the Chichester area with Zsani. Settling down for a coffee at a very outlying Pub at Chidham to discuss our plan for the day. It was then on to the Chidham Circular Walk Trail. The sun was so bright, so taking photos with a new camera was tricky to start with. So with the backdrop of the tidal, natural harbour and then a Barley field it was quite dramatic. The heat was quite exhausting and so a break for lunch at The Bosham Inn was our next stop. Rested up it was on to our next stop Bosham. This is the historic location where King Canute commanded the sea to recede. Negotiating the many tourists we just used the buildings as a backdrop for casual shots and natural portraits. It was then on to the final location of West Wittering. I was not expecting the tide to have gone out over a mile, so we had the dunes and the mudflats. This was a very unusual event but it is important to use what is there to it's best. Tired after our exhausting hot day it was back to London for Zsani and Surrey for me.
