Jess at the Chapel

Lockdown was rather a mess for everything including photography. So using the law of meeting someone outside for walking I arranged to meet Jess at Bedham Chapel. This is an abandoned Victorian building totally away from anywhere. You could drive past in summer and never know it was there. It also doubled up as a schoolroom. Where the children came from I have no idea. I wanted to shoot a mixture of Gothic and modern fashion. I think we were both grateful to get out of the house and spent a fun few hours shooting and talking.

I'm sure you were all very frustrated not being able to get out during lockdown. When it was finally considered OK to get outside I decided to see who was interested in shooting outside. I organised for Jess for a shoot in Worthing. It was quite strange seeing so many people around acting in a normal way. Jess was very enthusiastic and we wandered around stopping at anywhere interesting. I always find this better than over-planning. Plenty of fun on a summer's day.
