A Time to Dance

When I do something different or something I do infrequently I really get a buzz. One of these times is working with Vicki on dance! We had lots to live up to after the previous two shoots. Having been beset with technical problems the hard work of jumping by Vicki was tripled. Make-up Artist Tass sat watching amazed as jump after jump failed on every crucial shot. Frustration crept into my  concentration but I held my patience. All through this Vicki in her exuberant way smiled and tried again and again. I have so much admiration for her obvious talent and look forward to our next project. Tass made her usual immaculate designs. We all finished exhausted but results were great

Vicki's Time!

It is always exciting to work with talented people. Vicki is someone I always look forward to working with for that very reason. Vibrant personalities don't come bigger than Vicki. We have worked together for more than two years and our last shoot was after the longest period we have not done so. Primarily we got together to do some dance images which I love so much as Vicki is really the only one I do this with seriously. More of that in a later Blog. We had the added bonus of Tass Collier as Make-up Artist. We set about our Sixties shoot influenced by Twiggy followed by something more contemporary. Lots of cups of tea and pizza later we finished a successful day despite awful technical difficulties! Look out for the dance images! Can't wait to shoot with Vicki again.

The Dance of Vicki Bee

It is always great to do something different with photography. It is always the unexpected that comes along which gets things going. As a less than experienced studio photographer at the time I arranged a shoot with Vicki Bee. We hit it off from the start and in talking I discovered the real passion of Vicki which was dance. With the tiny space I have as my studio being a limitation we set about seeing what we could do. We got one really good shot so we were both pleased. Time has gone on and we have had further shoots where we have implemented dance. I get very excited about it every time. Timing is important and surprisingly our success rate with what we aim to achieve is high. You will need to come back here as we aim to do more in the coming weeks.
