Lina and Louisa: Sunshine and Serenity

The Village of Tolo on the Peloponnese in Greece is a place I have visited for many years. There is something which draws me in; me and so many others. And so I have friends there who have the same fondness for this fishing village. One of these people is Lina. We talked about having a follow-up shoot to the one two years ago in Nafplion. Lina introduced me to her new friend Louisa whose family live in Tolo during the summer. We talked over a number of ideas and with the temperature in the high 30s we were a bit ambitious and ended up shooting at sunrise down on the beach. It was quite surprising how many people were around at that time of day but we went ahead and just enjoyed the atmosphere of sunrise in the water.
Our second location was a church high up in the hills above the village. Luckily Louisa was driving a Range Rover which was really needed to cope with the terrain. The church with it's blue roof, doors and windows was great but the heat was starting to get oppressive with totally no breeze. The view of Tolo and the bay is one vista that should be on everyone's to-do list. Totally needing breakfast we headed back to the beach and the Babaressa to catch up and view results. It is not very often a photographer goes on holiday and shoots with two girls with such lovely souls. Just enjoy........

Chai! Jewellery and Hair

Chai was lovely to work with but was not expecting her return so early. Only ten days later she was back in studio. This time she brought her jewellery range and a lovely Hair Stylist called Hollie Milnes. We got into the swing quickly. The vibrant colours of the pieces needed careful framing. As a team we worked very well and achieved something very different as you can see. In such a short time I could see the gain in confidence in Chai. Images whether High-Key or Moody and Shadowy the atmosphere felt right.
