Day Two was searingly hot from the start of the day. It was tough trying to sort locations due to my lack of mobility but we managed and headed for the North Coast of the Peninsula. Glorious stone outcrops were the first stop where Sapphire could express her dance background to the limit again. The almost cloudless sky reflected in the sea. Next were the World War II German casements, long since abandoned and graffiti'd, where an urban feel became evident. Third stop was at a huge lighthouse where the nearby shallow pools beckoned Sapphire to enter the water.

Normandie With Sapphire Day One
So with so many difficult times to escape from I decided an excursion to France was a good idea despite crippling back and Sciatica problems. Sapphire replied to a casting on Facebook. She is very different to my usual choice of models but the thought of dance shots was a real bonus. Getting to France in one of the hottest periods of the summer we were met off the Ferry by our host Andy. We travelled down to his place in Graignes and unpacked before heading to the Dunes at historic Utah Beach. Hot and breezy brought the Marram Grass to life. Atmospheric shots on the dunes followed by stunning acrobatic jumps. Lovely start to our stay.
