It really is about time that music got back to it's roots and bands played their own music and live gigs were electric, raw and not full of gimmicks. Bring on Missing Andy. Original? Yes. Great song-writing? Of course. Hardworking? You'd better believe it. So why aren't they the biggest band around? Because you have not put them there yet. Go for it! Touring near you soon I am sure.

Weather looked like it would be kind and the so energetic and effervescent personality of Ellie came over in the lovely location of Winterfold. Trees, leaves and light all added to a varied location shoot. It was also time for Ellie and I to get to know each other. The conditions were not perfect and not being perturbed or put off Ellie came flying though. Styling was Ellie's combined with coat and jacket courtesy of "Labels of Cranleigh".

I never know what to expect when Luminitsa arrives and this was no exception. Bright and smiling we just had so much fun doing something different as you can see. Being confronted by a hair cap, nightie and toothbrush was a challenge but one met with the addition of a copy of Vogue which made for great fun. As usual Luminitsa's personality shone through. Lots of laughing plenty of great shots.

I always look forward to working with new people and Ellie was no exception. On meeting her it was like talking to someone I had known for some time. The conversation was easy as we walked to Labels of Cranleigh to choose some dresses. As usual they we fantastic in the shop loading us with lovely dresses to borrow. Our first port of call was location but more of that later.
Working in studio is so much easier when there is a relaxed nature to shoot. Pizza and cups of tea ensued in-between and a great shoot took place! Ellie responded well to direction and her creative side produced some great ideas. We had a Make-up Artist called Tori who also worked with Ellie's hair. I love unhurried shoots and before we knew it the time was approaching 11.00pm. Some 12 hours after we first started. Results speak for themselves. Lovely day.... Roll on next shoot!

I go on holiday to a Greek village called Tolo. Having lots of friends there I was introduced to Monika who is Hungarian. She worked in the evenings at "Remember Bar". Always happy to talk and wonderful to customers we got to know each other. There are people I come across who I just want to photograph for fun. Monika was just one of those people and you can see why. Having told her this two months later she arrived in England and came down to see me. We had a fantastic catch-up on things we had been doing and had a great shoot. For someone not being used to being in front of camera you would never know. It was a great day and I am sure it will happen again soon as she was so amazing as a model.
