Katy is quite new to modelling in front of camera but that did not affect her enthusiasm. Starting off it was important for her to understand about lighting and where it was coming from. This did not take long. For me the shoot was a little bit of a test as it was the first shoot since my surgery. What was great was the way Katy was able to talk and ask questions and with that rapport we got some lovely images especially some awesome headshots.
What I like is a model who knows what he/she wants so that we can work on our shared ideas. Becky always has ideas and a Bollywood style was her idea. So backed up with her Indian style dresses I routed out my Indian fabric and we set to work on exciting ideas. Haunting moody dark portraits along with bursts of colour. Then we played around with backlit images showing becky behind the fabric. We rang the changes totally after that with some contemporary fashion which suits Becky so well with her long legs, height and poise.
