Having seen the first part of my shoot with Amelia with the backdrop of pages from Wonderland Magazine it was onto some fashion where Amelia comes into her own. I think the element of drama, attitude and quirkiness that Amelia brings is brilliant. Considering we had never worked together the great communication shines through in every image. I think we did as much laughing as shooting. It is so important to have shared ideas and ethos about how the images will look. The elements of Bardot came shining through in the retro style of that classic pose that had over the decades become iconic.

Amelia and Wonderland
It was quite a while back I had wanted to work with Amelia. I think it was the unusual face but also the charisma to photographs I had seen. So I had the idea of putting fashion into the theme as a backdrop. I took copies of a magazine called Wonderland cut out the pages and selected which pages would add something to the collage. Amelia was excited by the idea and we really went for a variety of ideas, outfits and lighting. More to come later from our shoot.
