Hannah: High Key Low Key
It is always good to have variety in a shoot so having done some Retro actress style Hannah and I progressed on to some high key work to bring out the colours in the dress. It worked well and the colours vibrant. Further to that I wanted to incorporate the stairs in my house to create atmosphere and shadows. It takes a little setting up but worth it. I can shoot from below and above. One of the hard things is getting the lighting right as when using a honeycomb modifier because of the directional light any movement away from the light leaves the model out of the light. The play with shadows and the moodiness created produced some successful images.

Hannah: A Little Bit of Retro
Having talked for quite a while about recreating the mood of Forties and Fifties actresses we organised our shoot, We did not want to copy any particular actresses look but use Hannah to give that feel. We set about our task working with a variety of lighting setups and by ringing the changes and using mainly one light we got well into our task. As an actress and loving all the classic Hollywood era Hannah was great and the mood suited her perfectly. A touch of Retro with a modern twist at times created a really pleasing result,

Hannah! The Bright-Eyed Girl
A second installment of my shoot with actress Hannah. The main reason for working with her was her face to get some beauty shots. After all it was her face and eyes which first made me sit up and take notice. I am sure you will agree that this was so worth it. There is something very intriguing about her face. I just hope others agree.
